Darren Criss - Glee

Sorry for the absence, I have been so incredibly busy with life in general I have not had time to blog. A while back,I had the fortunate opportunity to take a few photos of Darren Criss from the popular hit Glee! I have never photographed anyone on stage, and the dark theatre combined with a multitude of color lighting, was a big challenge for me. But overall I think everything turned out great! I hope you like these shots!

20/52 - LANDSCAPE

I have been slacking on my photography lately. I have just been so busy I haven't had a chance to sit down and go through all of my photo's. So this week's photo is from our trip to visit Gigi in Arizona. the kids had a blast, and we were able to visit the fantastic Pheonix zoo! This weeks theme is landscape, and I just love the red rock, with the mountain goats.

When I saw these two fighting I had to use this as this week's theme of movement, it has no personal meaning to me other than it was neat to capture! I love being at the right place at the right time.

Here are some handsome shot's of Kevin getting ready for his prom. He and 8 of his best buds all dressed in white tux's for fun, and they didn't let their dates know! So much fun!

15/52 - Theme: Paper

This week's theme is Paper, so after lugging my camera around with little inspiration all week long on this particular theme, I realized it was hopeless. Until, Thursday night while at the in-laws, my mother-in-law was preparing for Easter, and she has these awesome "Hydrangea Bunnies".... made out of.... you guessed it, PAPER!!! Yes I was saved. I just love the DOF on the close up of his head.

Cirque du Soleil's Quidam and Yigit Pura at Macy's

I had the pleasure of taking some photo's for the Macy's Men's Designer Event at Macy's in Union Square. Oh my, what fun it was, there were models, Cirque du Soleil's "Quidam", and Yigit Pura. Yigit also had a few treats to share, and I have to say his peanut butter cups are amazing!!!

13/52 - Shadow

I had lots of options for this week's theme, but I just loved this shot. I have nothing more profound to say as my little ones and the weather woke us about 18 times last night, so I am dragging.

12/52 - Reflection

This weeks theme is reflection, there are many things that came to mind on this topic, but I took it literally and tried to get my little girls reflection in the window as she was giggling over this turtle at the aquarium. We love the aquarium, and daddy loves it to because that means he gets to dive while we go look at the fishies through glass rather than through a mask!

Hello!! Food and Wine Magazine

I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would have a photo I took printed in a National Magazine (with a photo credit as well!). I am still in shock. Even since this shoot, I have learned so much, and still have a ton more to learn, but I am still happy!

11/52 - Color

This week has been crazy. Two sick kids, my mom is visiting, and a night out with no kids (which was a nice night I might add, but there was no photography allowed in the show, so no evidence of that awesomeness). So I have to say my photo's are not all that creative, and they coincide with an assignment a few weeks ago.... So here it is PAINT!!!
